Canyon Robotics Booster Inc. is an independent, parent-run 501(c)(3) community organization supporting student-driven competitive youth robotics teams.

Who we are: an independent nonprofit, not a school

Canyon Robotics Booster Inc. is a California nonprofit public benefit corporation, recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) public charity under EIN 87-2254446. It is governed and staffed entirely by volunteer parents.

  • We are not a school or a government entity. We do not operate a campus, enroll students, employ teachers, or grant academic credit.
  • We are a booster and fundraising organization. Our work is raising and stewarding donated funds so that young people can take part in competitive robotics.
  • We are volunteer-run. Parents and community members serve on the board and do the work; the organization has no paid staff.
  • The students do the engineering. Team members design, build, program, and drive their own robots. We fund and support that work — we do not do it for them.

What donations pay for

Competitive robotics is expensive, and cost is the most common reason a student never gets to try it. Every dollar we raise goes into a build season.

Team registration and tournament entry fees for each competition season.

Robot components

Control systems, motors, sensors, and structure for each team's competition robot.

Parts & equipment

Field elements, practice space setup, shop tools, and safety equipment students build with.
